Interested in joining Book Club? We meet once a month on the second Thursday of the month. Book Club gives you a choice between an online meeting and an in-person meeting. Both meetings are held on the same day and at the same time and they discuss the same book. Everyone will have a chance to share their impression of the book. The title of the book that the Book Club is discussing this month is The Climate Book: The Facts and the Solutions, created by Greta Thunberg. Anyone who hasn’t been living under a rock for the last few years knows that Greta Thunberg is the young Swedish environmental activist who is so concerned about climate change that she has taken on world leaders with her campaigns. She has even spoken at a United Nations Climate Change Conference. To create this book, she gained the cooperation of dozens of climate experts from many fields to contribute to the book.
