The Practicality and Sustainability of a Residential Solar Power System in Calgary

Brent has a personal interest in renewable energy. As a part of that interest, he had a solar/battery storage system installed in his home, in the summer of 2017. In this webinar presentation, Brent will discuss the motivations and goals behind his decision to install solar power. During the six years of operation of the solar system, Brent has been accumulating data about the operation of the system. He will share with us, some of the financial details as well as the challenges and surprises he has encountered along the way. Finally, Brent will discuss the sustainability of his system with respect to the long-term generation, storage, and use of solar energy.
