Each month we have a short presentation on either a religious or skeptical topic followed by a discussion! There is also plenty of time to mingle and meet other atheists, humanists, skeptics, and overall great people.

This is a free event but we do have to pay for the room and meet the minimum order each month, plus 20% gratuity that will be added to each bill. Please help us support the pub as they are giving us the room for a very reasonable rate. Consider having dinner while you are out, they have a fantastic menu!

Skeptics in the Pub Calgary has been running monthly since 2008! We started presenting monthly topics in 2018, and many members of our community have either presented or suggested great topics.

This event will take place at Trolly 5 Brewpub. To find the private Barrell Room, go straight in past the bar, past the stairs, and on the left, look for our big sign!

A note about respectful behaviour:

We are an inclusive community of atheists, humanists, skeptics, and secular freethinkers who welcome people of all backgrounds and identities. We won't all agree all the time, but disagreement is no excuse for disrespectful behavior. Disagreements should be resolved in a constructive manner and without personal attacks. Challenge ideas, not people. Do not insult or put down other participants. Harassment and other exclusionary behavior aren’t acceptable.
